We have an in-house professional adviser to assist all members to improve their skills and we host demonstrations by guest artists in a variety of mediums and art topics. Our members are diverse in their skills, using a range of mediums and techniques. The club owns equipment such as a ‘Trace Down’ copier, lap top, projector and screen and an extensive lending library which includes DVDs. Audio visual presentations are also given and are intimated in the Calendar of Events

The committee, which is elected by the membership, meets every two months with extra meetings held as required. The AGM is held at the last meeting of the year in December. Open forums are held once a month to facilitate communication with our members and to encourage suggestions for new ventures.

The club takes a break during the summer months from the end of May until the beginning of September and also two weeks during the Christmas period. During the summer months, outdoor painting sessions are arranged by the outdoor painting co-ordinator. Members can access these sessions on their own or transport can be arranged if necessary.

The art club holds an annual exhibition in Kinross Parish Church in September, which enables members to display and sell their work. The club participates each year in Perthshire Open Studios

The annual membership fee is £40 payable on joining and thereafter in January of each year.
